Looking for recs for chill places to hang out and drink #coffee and/or #cocktails in #barcelona. Husband uses a wheelchair, so our main criteria are chill vibes, good drinks, and step-free (or single-low-step) access. We like being outside and people watching, so sidewalk seating, rooftops and terraces are a big plus. Not looking for interaction with other people or loud music. Just places where we can sit in a quiet corner and read whilst sipping our beverages. 👍 Boots for reach welcome!

@maccath@phpc.social pff plenty of places, i used to like taking a coffe in plaça universitat, also in the hood of gracia plaça del sol and in the ramblas there is a very nice bar near the museum of cera el bosc de les fades (maybe a pair of steps at the entrance but i dont remember). in fact now that i think about it it wont matter where you are you can ask for any plaça and you will find a relaxing place to drink something :P

@maccath@phpc.social La Mariposa Negra has some amazing cocktails, and outdoor seating which won’t be a problem with a wheelchair. A bit of self- (family, my uncle’s 😅) promotion: for coffee and/or breakfast/lunch el Bicioci Bike Cafè is cozy and with only a small step at the entrance (plus a couple of seating places outside) 😁 If you’re into specialty coffee: - Nomad, three locations around the city - Departure Coffee in the El Raval neighborhood is really nice 1/2
