@marcedwards @globex they’ve been doing that since the iPhone 5. I remember it being introduced as a way of making it feel like the icons are floating above the wallpaper.

@sdjmchattie @globex Yes, a parallax effect was introduced in iOS 7 in 2013. But also, this issue is new. Here’s a screenshot of iOS 18. The dock and icons line up.
