@marcedwards Maybe it was because they stayed the same size, and there was a maximum number of icons. Now you can jam about a zillion down there. Or did 18 also do that? Hmm.

@nygl @marcedwards this appears to be about the iPhone OS specifically which has portrait only layout and always a maximum of 4 icons in the dock.
