They’re not as expensive as you’d think anymore. Yeah, real good one is a few grand, but you get into the mid 3 digit range and you can still get a pretty alright one.

I’ve watched a disassembly video of the basic Unitree dog variant last year, which cost around 5000 $ then. Smart modular design btw.
