@relistan @n8dmt will do👍 I’ve got to find my stock of variable caps first😂. I have a few big transmitting caps lurking somewhere (like these https://www.mainline-group.com/collections/5720-tx5-high-power-airspaced-variable-capacitor-by-jackson-brothers) … I’ll have a think about how the design could work for a bigger variable cap. Last time I played with gears I used a relatively hefty microstepping stepper motor and one of the Jackson Bros gears, to drive a large TX5 variable - worked really well!
