@Christo_459 Well yeah, but two things:
1. I think when people say "CW all political posts", most of the time they're talking about posts that explicitly mention candidates, political parties, and the like. So it depends on your definition of "politics" (I do agree that pretty much everything comes down to politics in the end, though)
2. I think a significant number of people actually aren't interested in reading about or discussing ANY of the things you mentioned, and all they want to do is make jokes and talk shit, and that's why they're on social media. So they would probably want any mention of anything to do with serious issues to be CWed.
That second group would probably be better served by simply not following and/or muting anyone who posts about anything "serious".
But in general, that's the problem I have with CWs in general: everything you can think of is likely to offend someone, somewhere along the line. And I don't want a situation where we CW basically every single post in existence, such that CWs become nothing more than email subject lines.
I'd much prefer that we come up with a list of agreed-upon hashtags that we use for certain topics, and then people not interested in those topics could just mute those hashtags.
