Yet another very belated #grandma recording. Key take-away is probably, that she told the story, on how her dad hit someone with a garden fence post (probably a drunken fight that got out of control) and that one lost his eye/sight. Then grandma says, that she told her sister, that children often pay for their parents' sins. Grandma had sight problems for more than the last decade of her life … #genealogy
