@markstos @yy my suburban grocery stores usually face busy streets. For the homes behind the stores, pedestrians and cyclists need to come out to the busy street in order to enter the parking lot. Seems like having a pedestrian entryway from the neighborhood (avoiding the big street) would make this more inviting.

    @footsteps @yy That's a common pattern-- we have the same problem here, where a Kroger fronts to a massive parking lot and busy roads with apartments directly behind it.
