@lopta I shifted over to vanilla Debian + XCFE for a very boring and lightweight desktop environment.

@blainsmith @lopta ditto, i'd say Fedora or Debian. Both offer stable platforms, no snaps by default.

@blainsmith We did try Debian on my son's computer but it didn't work and the #debian people on Libera weren't helpful.
