@gardencourt@tech.lgbt The way I read it is that the cis women that say that are respecting us for the effort, and the life changing decision in the face of potential adversity just so we can be happy with ourselves. I don't really see the negative way this could come across?

@keshara@blahaj.zone i know it's supposed to be meant well, but whenever i see people say things like that, it just feels like someone is using my struggle, and the fact they don't it, to feel better about themselves. it probably speaks to something internal to me, more than anyone else, that i don't read it the way you have.
