@blechterror i have only heard about some of these, not much about scale. i live down-river from the Chalk River reactor, so i have heard about multiple heavy water discharges into the Ottawa River. i consider the damage in dollars incalculable and probably misleading if i did know a figure. it's long-term damage to the health of anything and anyone living within the affected areas that concerns me more. i don't think a dollar value can be put on that.
