Overall, it feels themed towards the smart middle school kids who chose Spanish instead of German like me >_> but who cares, it's Duolingo without the shit.

OK, a strike against uTalk, at least in Swedish learning Spanish; It's giving you indefinite subjects to translate (*a* cup of coffee) but expects you to magically know to translate it to a definite one (*la* taza de café, *the* cup of coffee, instead of *una* taza de café)

@somekindofgarf Heh, default school language choices are fascinating. Being British (southern English, even) the standard was French up until my year-group who got to choose between French, Spanish, and Italian. Two years later some were also able to learn either Latin or German. I went for Italian, simply because I have a Sicilian uncle, and took Latin on top. I'm terrible with both.
