@demofox I liked the video a lot. I watched the first part more carefully and will return to part 2. I finally understand that blue noise is globally uniform but locally random (sorry if that is very wrong), The explanation of one way to generate it by "picking the point furthest from others" is intuitive. I need to go back and watch the irrational number thing which maps to points on a circle - but the idea that blue noise almost equidistantly dissects the circumference - minimising clumping - was a good way to illustrate the idea. i may try to find your irrational numbers blog to read about it at a slower pace - thanks for sharing !
