#Chicago, 1980. A coordinated effort of law enforcement agencies using split-second timing, good old-fashioned police work, and (approved) unnecessary violence led to the capture and arrest of Jake and Elwood Blues - the Blues Brothers. The operation, though successful, was not without cost - nearly every mobile police asset (i.e., cop cars) in the greater Chicago area was severely damaged or destroyed, leaving a gap of some weeks where the Chicago PD was unable to respond quickly or effectively pursue fleeing criminals. Also, the Cubs were having their worst season in 15 years. In short, the time was right... for a heist. #WritingPrompt #BluesBrothers
