Worried on the left: nobody is advocating for a media funding model that isn't private corporate fascist or philanthropy funded and still privately funded. I got activists thinking Instagram is better than journalists because they see all the amazing content producers but not Meta's control over curation in partnership with powerful nation-states. And journos losing jobs, and we lose investigation, fact checking, and suing for information. But journos are not advocating for their profession.
