I guess you don’t have to HDCP encrypt the RGB data stream, but still, HDMI has a rather high bandwidth…

@axel Yeah the Pico needs to be way overclocked. The signal is there, some devices handle it, some don’t. Interestingly the ones that don’t (the Asus 5K and my 4K TV) do exactly the same thing with the G5 DVI output: Asus has it wrapped horizontally about 1/3 of the width (the left side shows up on the right, and the TV shows arbitrary (but very deterministic) pixels. However the G5 does not work at all with the old Sony display while the Pico handles it perfectly. DVI is a mess!
