@Gorfram @keineidee @futurebird alright, it was a really cool concept and the fact that it involved characters carrying wasps around in space because the wasps had a lot of questions about space was very cool. But, it was also a Neal Asher story. I assume Asher was pro Brexit and the book in the Polity series he published in 2020 had the memorable dedication of "I hate all of you, Covid is fake, I dont want to wear a mask. Everyone else is sheeple" and then the book went on to elaborate on the absolute victimhood of being a Covid denier in graphic and deplorable ways. So, like, subtlety isnt a strong suit for him and I will just leave you to your own conclusions on that one.
