You know somebody living with PTSD, even if you don’t know who. Please don’t make jokes about their disability, it’s not funny and it makes it harder for them to interact with you. If you fuck up and forget this advice and get called out, acknowledge the mistake, apologize, and move on to do better. Unnecessary defensiveness has never made a joke funnier; not once.
