I’m thrilled to be returning to @WIRED as a contributing editor, starting today. The idea is to help EIC Katie Drummond and her team wrangle big stories and major talent. I’ll be writing myself, too, as I contribute to other outlets. WIRED was my first freelance home. I was fortunate enough to work there during its last golden age. With the crew of scoop-minded reporters Katie has assembled, I’m convinced we’re on the verge of its next one.
