I see Saek language (ภาษาแสก) has seven tones, which means we need two more tonemarks than Thai Unicode currently provides. ไม้แถรก is a horizontal line and ไม้ซับ is an upward chevron; both sit above the consonant or, like other tonemarks, move upstairs if there's a vowel sitting on the consonant.
The question is: do we use macroncomb u+0304 and circumflexcomb u+0302 (this approach works fine in the fonts I've tested), OR do we propose these to be encoded as new characters in the Thai Unicode range?
