I know, I'm late for #freecadfriday but I'm currently switching back from Autodesk Fusion 360 to #FreeCAD to get rid of my Windows VM and Autodesk's cloud #enshittification stuff.
I still have to (re-)learn the workflow and tools but just finished my first two models: protective caps for the Zeiss 7x40 NVA German military binoculars. Printed with TPU. My printer somehow messed up the edges on the eyepiece protection but they work 👍

@fehlfarbe freecad finde ich manchmal recht fummelig, aber wenns einmal läuft, läufts 😅 Außerdem hatte mich vor paar Jahren das open source Thema angesprochen, klar das man nicht für jedes Programm direkt zahlen will. Ich bin zufrieden 😁 Auch cool das du mit dem tpu dein Fernglas sichern konntest ☺️ Sonst die große Kappe aus pla?
