@levampyre I’ve got some bush varieties with small black seeds that I store dry. The pods need to start turning brown before I harvest. Once that happens I keep an eye on the weather. if we get a little frost they get covered, below-2C I harvest. When the autumn rain starts I harvest the whole plant, and dry them on top of my firewood stack. Then I pod them and dry the seeds further on trays beside the wood stove in our living room. @pms 😆 Yeah, my partner is prepared for the worst, too. But we've build a wooden block house deliberately. Lots of beams to hang herbs and fruit from the ceiling to dry. Your approach sounds reasonable. I will try that.
