@Broadfork looks *very* viable! sealed container? ambient temp? I bought new this year, after struggles with 3 yr old seed last year, and have inter-sown every raised bed in the tunnel with them. I always want to eat more than I have, and shop ones are a bugger to porter on the bike and don't keep well. Nantes and one I've never tried before, "Berlikumer 2".

    @wavesculptor @Broadfork seeds keep best in an airtight container and in a fridge, that's presuming they are dry when they go in..

    @wavesculptor I keep my saved seed inside paper envelopes and/or inside inside glass jars, inside a cool cupboard. That’s the last of the saved carrot seed used so I messed up for next year. I’m growing three heirloom varieties of carrot this year. I’ll look to store the best of the roots in sand over winter and replant the best of these next spring for collecting seed from.
