@licho I have never heard of cat clay before. Has this worked for you and given your seeds a bit more longevity?
I am just starting to push the limits with some of my own saved seed to see how viable the older ones are.

@Broadfork the most important thing for storage is keeping the humidity away. I have successfully used the cat clay as a dryer in other contexts, replacing silica gel packets as a more environmentally friendly option. Still testing it in the context of seeds though.

@Broadfork I'm sorry, I didnt know the correct term, by cat clay I mean the clay stuff you put in the litter box, made of clay or bentonite clay. That's the thing to use there.
