In Nov 2024 a popular cafe in town closed due to increasing financial pressures, culminating in "a significant rent hike". The space they were in has remained empty to this day. I hope the greedy landlord is happy with their actions. It brings me a bit of dark satisfaction to know they have received zero rent in that time.

@wezm Had this happen to a mate. 70% rent increase! In a small arcade with a load of empty shops.
