@tslumley Pharmac presumably did not spend all the funding they had for every NZ resident 65 to 80 years to get the shingles vaccine when it first got funded. [Edited to correct age range] Maybe we could just accept that the rollout didn't reach everyone it needed to and come up with a reasonable way of managing the uncertainty. Just like they are managing the unexpected higher need for antivirals due to Covid (both for Covid and for the higher rates of shingles we are experiencing as s result) @thirzajane @BobLefridge @thomasbeagle
