Me in 2019: getting ready to have a prototype of some puzzle pieces lasercut, cursing at how incredibly bad LibreCAD is for preparing the layout. Me now: same situation, except this time around I coded a bespoke interface for defining and placing the shapes (complete with an input language in the style of Logo or turtle graphics). Yes, my language is all kinds of jank, but this is _so_ much nicer than fighting with a CAD program.
