@CordiallyChloe @siege It still boggles my mind like generally: Why should I (I'm a cis man but for my point IT'S ANYONE) ever tell you which genitalia you should/shall/must have/not have? That's very very high on the "not my business" scale. But since I'm here to learn... so I should be afraid that trans women might be too sexual and could then... teach that to... cis women and that... threatens my male... monopoly on it (??) That's very very high on the "male insecurity" scale.

@ChristianRiegel @siege You're mostly getting it tbh lol. But yes, exactly. There are lots of people out there who are so entrenched in toxic masculinity and the patriarchy that they will fight tooth and nail to uphold it. And that means controlling other people's bodies bc if they don't, it might invalidate their own existences. The biggest reason transphobes exist is because trans people threaten their own identities. If a "man can become a woman" and WANTS to do that, then what does it even mean to be a man, and is it actually better to be a man than a woman in the first place? That is far too upsetting of a question for them, so they'd rather just not have to answer it by controlling us and pushing us out of existence.
