Non-profit housing is the only obvious way out to bring rents back into human proportions.

    @lexiconista@mastodon.ie That's similar how nonprofit housing cooperative associations in Austria work. With the twist that even after the financing for your project is financed, a certain part of a fictional financing is continued to be paid as rent in eternity to bolster the association's capital for further projects.
