@mnot i think it was reported at the time, too. the people who said robodebt would do what it did were ignored, the people who were saying doing robodebt to the ndis were ignored, and so it goes. the problem is that these warnings aren't relevant to the people making the decisions. the poor outcomes are the point. robodebt was designed to punish welfare recipients. the automation of the ndis is designed to get people off the ndis. this isn't supposed to protect children. seems like it's designed to extend control, increase restrictions, abrogate responsibility for child welfare and i dunno, put peoples’ identification data on the darkweb through a series of data breaches, i suppose.
