@mhd This was very widely used text editor that worked in text mode (i.e. no graphics). It was later supplanted by MAT text editor from Cybex that ran in graphics mode. Both of them only allowed for raw text editing with very minimal formatting. The basic reason for their existence was that other text editors had problems supporting Czech diacritics.

@fuxoft Did the other international packages catch up with that? Or were there some holdouts that continued to use it because it was more convenient still? (although the time frame seems ill-suited for text mode applications in general)
