Mastodon seems like a place for easy answers to this: I'm programming an ESP32 Bluetooth keyboard. It won't pair with my GrapheneOS phone, but works fine with other devices I've tried. Is there some kind of setting that would affect compatibility? The error just says "Can't communicate with [MAC address]."

I turned on verbose Bluetooth logs in Graphene and you'll never guess what the problem was... Literally. Because I couldn't tell you. The ESP32 board is suddenly connecting to my phone just like it connects to everything else! My best guess is that turning Bluetooth off and on again to make the new log setting take effect also cleared up the original issue. It's possible I screwed something up with an earlier unsuccessful attempt to pair. #ESP32 #GrapheneOS #Bluetooth #programming
