@Deepseacreatur3@thicc.horse You might want to try Ctrl + Alt + F1 through F9 once you're at the blank screen with the cursor. See if that gets you to a login prompt at least. Something pretty clearly broke for you for some reason and that service start failure just *might* be a clue, but without details it's hard to say of what exactly. Getting to a login prompt, even if just to a terminal shell, would be a good first step.
