@stfn @glasnt I assume this is because some people assume (incorrectly) that the person they’re talking to is not a programmer because of [insert sexist/racist/other toxic reasoning here], and so the con is telling you to not do that. They’re not just saying “assume everyone is a programmer” because code cons don’t just have coders at them. Sales, marketing, HR, beginners, etc. The double neg really throws me though. “We DO NOT: assume someone isn’t a programmer”
