@ShadowJonathan @woozle @meatballhat thank you! Someone suggested it might have to do with my instance not yet being federated enough (it's a relatively new, single-user instance), but that seems... strange?

@zkat @woozle @meatballhat nope, that shouldn't be it I'm currently thinking it can have something to do with the way most servers process migrations, and that some software tolerate some errors, while (for example) mastodon doesn't in this case, but for that I need to look at the servers (specifically, their software) of the followers that did migrate over, and see what their software does, that mastodon might not
