@AdaraAstin @MartinVuilleme I'm sorry for their bad experiences in the past, residential psychiatry is a complicated field (both to work in and to benefit from) and bad habits tend to endure. And i cannot garantee that it won't happen again or that it will be benefitial for them. That's why i would advise to go through those lines, so that they can meet someone that will be able to advise them correctly.

@AdaraAstin @MartinVuilleme Regarding the costs, if your friend is receiving disability benefits, their medical expenses should be covered, but they'll need to double-check that with the doctors. And if that's their only revenue they are entitled to supplementary benefits ("prestations complémentaires") that cover every medical bills (to the penny). (you can come back to me if you have specific questions about that, i'm beginning to be competent in that area 😅 )
