@mgleadow Terfs are also Terds. They need to understand that these sort of tactics can have repercussions both inside and outside the legal system that they really won't like very much. For starters, how would the so-called "Alliance Defending Freedom" like to have bullhorn-wielding protesters outside their home late at night on randomly picked nights after getting their home addresses published online? They're not government agents, it's legal to dox them right out in the open, the rest will take care of itself. Even more is possible: events that comply with TERF demands can be disrupted and even forced to cancel. Not nice to have to go there, but pressure from one side can be countered by pressure from the other. Not only that, anyone submitting to these demands becomes directly responsible for discrimination against and oppression of trans folks themselves. No excuses: better to fucking cancel outright, then let participants hold unofficial events with no leaders and nobody to sue. We let them get away with this one, by the time its over participants will have to certify their attendance at an approved church etc etc etc.
