@datarama I feel this a lot, too. What helped me was the rule to avoid news articles (punchy headlines followed by brief reporting). I filtered all the news sources I follow into a mastodon list, excluded from my main feed. I still follow the news. But only longer articles with more context and analysis. And podcasts where people discuss a topic. (1/2)

Especially the latter helped me to „stay informed“ but without the dread of „feeling alone while exposed to the horrors“ - for the simple fact that I hear real humans sharing their thoughts. I know, you did not ask for advise. However, I can relate a lot and maybe my perspective can help you find *your* way how to improve your situation. (2/2) @datarama
