@colincornaby I've seen the security researchers trying to write this off as no big deal, that much smaller models could have done this. Question I have is, why haven't they?
Yeah, security is a good way to charge more for an LLM that's difficult to scale. There's probably some of that. But I do believe it's also genuinely more capable of finding these vulnerabilities. Both things can be true.

@stevex My guess is Mythos is more capable to some extent - the question is what does that mean in context of it being a 10 trillion parameter model. How much extra should tech companies pay to go from free to a 10 trillion parameter model that could be incrementally more capable. And then what happens if the next model is incrementally better but 5x the cost? Does big tech just keep paying exponential costs for incremental improvements?
