@egonw Well, when bikes lanes aren’t accessible from the car lanes, I guess that the car can’t do that (and have no interest doing it, customers can be dropped between the car lane and the bike lane, and small streets have mixed traffic anyway). So, that’s another argument in favor of totally protected bike lanes instead of paint only.
