@gilgwath Last time this happened to me it was because I have installed a desktop widget. Removed it and now everything is okay again. Something like that, maybe?

@BeckaOhNoes Thank you for the suggestion, but it was literally the mous switch being somehow stuck. Doing some percussive maintenance was all that was needed. 😬
