GenAI is awful like plastic bottles with filtered water is. If you can pause for a second that idea is ludicrous esp considering we have potable water, but yet many of us consume literal pallets of that stuff. GenAI like filtered bottled water is quite convenient, but also utterly destructive & usually more expensive than traditional approaches, but forget all that …. It’s convenient. I don’t see a garbage patch in ocean just like I don’t see an endless server farm burning huge energy.
