Pondering things after this whole Claude Code source business I think the problem with the #GenAI for #SoftwareEngineering code production is we have decided that non-functional requirements are now just nice to have. In other words, if the code "works" than that's it, it's good enough. For end users that won't be enough. In fact that is just be the entry point. For devs over time that's also a rubbish thought unless you just think you re-gen the code aka disposable code is now all code.
