@phillmv absolutely get your anguish here. which makes it a little surreal to read the bits of this where Python and Sorbet are catching strays, as I have been on a similar emotional journey but see those things as bulwarks against the stuff that pains us both rather than part of the same pattern of decay.
can't front though, I am seriously thinking about buying a nondescript navy polo now.

@phillmv I should note that I think it is *good* for the Python community to catch some flak; while we have made a couple of good governance decisions, we have a LONG way to go if we are eventually going to get to a world, even in our own little garden, that looks equitable and fair let alone joyful
