@stepheneb @phillmv It's also the case that most people care so much, and have functional empathy, which renders them unable to amass dytopian levels of riches while people literally starve to death. But it's worse than that - they are using their wealth to build better military tech, drones, bombs, and more efficient killers, and fear instillers. Fascism is coming, again.
