@cantdoxthedrox I was in a somewhat similar bind once. I came up with lots of logical arguments on why I shouldn't contact her and broach the subject. I eventually weighed the cost vs. benefit. The cost was a little discomfort. The benefit ranged anywhere from a small pleasant date to a lifetime of happiness. In my case, it led to the happiest five years of my life. Sadly, we ultimately couldn't make it work past five years. I would never trade those five years for anything. We are still friends today. The cost is tiny compared to the potential benefit. This isn't a decision for the "logical" part of your brain. Its job is to find reasons why you shouldn't. When it comes to love, logic fails. Love isn't logical. It isn't supposed to be. Listen to your heart. It knows more than logic ever will. If you don't make a play for him, you will never know if you could have had him. You will never know what might have been.
