Or various terrible things we don't want to happen on the Open Social Web but that happen in Big Tech all the time.
The answer may be No. But I'm not convinced of that. The answer is not Yes either, at least not yet, because I don't think we have a blueprint for how to do that. But imagine if we figured it out ... we'd solve sooo many problems in our community, and for the world. So I want to see whether we can make some progress on thinking through this ...

@j12t@j12t.social My initial thought is it may be possible to accomplish all these goals, but that it would be a difficult needle to thread. It would require a large amount of cooperation and sober, civil communication from all stakeholders.

@j12t I’d guess the piece that can’t fit is “can raise money that wants a financial return”. Even without that, constructing an organization with all of the others sounds hard enough
