Handley Page Halifax (W1048) - the ruin of this grand old plane were raised from the bottom of a Norwegian lake, where the bomber came to rest during WW2. Thankfully all crew members survived. These machines were of course used for a terrible purpose but I think that they still have a grandeur and beauty to them.
