America imported almost nothing from China in the 1950's-1980's.
Somehow we survived.
We can do it again, and it's pathetic defeatist thinking to believe otherwise.

@ILoveAmericaNews We outsourced everything since then. The factories are all torn down and replaced by strip malls and apartments. That industrial capability is gone, possibly for good. You're right that we'd survive, but we'd do it by finding a new China to make our tchotchkes, not by turning the old factories back on. My guess would be primarily India. @CaptLuke @wy7usa
