1. When the straights are open, times are good, when the straights are closed, times get hard.
2. Crazy closes straights . . . opening them will take a strong leader who is willing to spend a lot of money.

@CaptLuke Trump is putting China in a box. American oil production just passed Russia and Saudi Arabia combined. China is experiencing fuel lines like in Jimmy Carter's America. Cutting China off from Venezuelan and Iranian oil is a massive strategic win. 15 months ago China had proxy control of the Straight of Hormuz and the Panama Canal. Now America controls them both. It's nice finally having a President stand up to China. Trump is kicking their arse. @wy7usa
